Trump Throttles NBC Reporter Over Chicago ‘War’ Meme to Their Face: ‘That’s Why You’re Second Rate’
Chicago is a mess, and their Democrat leaders are more offended by a meme they are of the endless stream of murders and shootings on their streets.
The Mass Murderer You Might Have Never Heard of—Alleged Killer of 18 Ignored by Corrupt Media
Eighteen. I can’t even quite cope with that number. Rest assured, however, you’ll never hear about such atrocities from the corrupt corporate media.

So Red Flag Laws Didn't Fail in Minneapolis, People Did?
It's funny how the red flag law is supposed to be the savior, but when it fails, no one who supported it ever steps back and thinks, "Oh, wait, maybe this law wasn't quite what I thought it was."

The Image That Killed the Democrats in 2026 and Beyond
Because in the end, Democrats champion mental illness, crime, and the breakdown of civil order; they champion evil. Republicans fight it. Period.

Today on Capitol Hill...
It's the critters' first Monday back in session. There's only one meeting set: The House Rules Committee meets in the afternoon on "H.R. 3838- Streamlining Procurement for Effective Execution and Delivery and National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2026; H.R. 3486- Stop Illegal Entry Act." Things will pick up, though, on Tuesday.
Then, too, we're just north of three weeks ahead of the shutdown deadline, so expect a flurry of activity on the appropriations front. We're also about to see whether the Senate GOP intends to press forward and force the rule change to allow “en bloc” confirmation of non-Cabinet executive branch nominees. I'd say it's past time.
White House What's Up
President Donald Trump is set to head to the Museum of the Bible Monday morning, where he'll deliver remarks to the White House Religious Liberty Commission.
Over the weekend, Vice President JD Vance shared his view on the use of the military to carry out a strike on a Tren de Aragua drug-running boat. Streiff let us know about that here:

I expect we'll see an order or two out of the Supreme Court this week on the pending applications for stay before it. Justice Amy Coney Barrett sat for an interview with "Face the Nation" over the weekend and shared her views on a number of topics, including the Dobbs decision.
And the trial of Ryan Routh over his attempted assassination of then-candidate Trump almost a year ago begins in Florida today.
President Trump is set to head to the U.K. next week, but something tells me he's got a busy week ahead of him this week, both on the domestic and foreign affairs front. (I suppose that could be true of any given week, but after a relatively quiet week or two, I suspect things are about to ratchet back up.)
I'll be honest: I haven't delved all that deeply into the story regarding the horrific August 22 murder of Iryna Zarutska in Charlotte, North Carolina, by a career criminal on a light rail train. I've been somewhat aware of the story since our own Sister Toldjah covered it a week-and-a-half ago. And once I saw there was video of the brutal slaying, I steered clear of it, because I know my limits.
What I gleaned from skimming social media over the weekend was that the legacy media appeared to be studiously avoiding the story, while many rational folks were questioning how the suspect, given his violent criminal history, wasn't already/still incarcerated.
This morning, as I opened up X, one of the first things I saw was this headline from Axios: "Grisly Charlotte Stabbing Video Fuels MAGA's Crime Message." Oh. Okay. The real story here isn't the horrific, unprovoked attack and murder of a Ukrainian refugee on her way home from work or the disturbingly lengthy rap sheet of the alleged murderer. It's not about safety on mass transit or the failures of the criminal justice system. It's about that infernal MAGA crime message.
Yeah. Forgive me if this is uncharitable of me, but I hope the writer(s) and/or editor(s) who settled upon that headline and framing are haunted by Iryna Zarutska's face for the remainder of their time on this plane of existence.
Birds(?) of a feather...
