Taxpayer-Funded Riots: Here's What We Found When We Followed the Money in Los Angeles
Basically, our taxpayer dollars are going to train high school and college students in how to break immigration law and become Marxist agitators, to ensure illegal aliens are counted in the U.S. Census, to organize illegal aliens already in the country, and to fund their legal representation against deportation.
CVS Subsidiary Found Guilty of Fraud
With all this news coming out, it seems PBMs days may be limited, which would be a win for patients and independent pharmacies across the board.
Seriously? This is what he's doing, while Los Angeles is in chaos, trying to play to media to hit at Trump? Stop the damn political posturing for the leftist base. You're done for 2028. Americans think you're the governor of a mess.

Backpacking Writer Asks Whether You Should Carry a Gun on the Trail or Not
Still, I thought it was a pretty reasonable piece looking at guns for backpacking that lacked any real animosity toward the right to keep and bear arms. I think it's nice to see, for a change.
Ho-Hum, Nothing to See Except 'Lawful' Angelenos Attempting to Murder Cops; Dem Govs Endorse!
Makes a fellow proud to be a Texan these days. And it explains why more Americans choose to be Texans and Floridians rather than Californians and Minnesotans, too.

The amount of corruption here is just off the charts.
Today on Capitol Hill...
It's Monday, so the critters are getting off to a slow start. The House will consider a measure denouncing the antisemitic attack in Boulder, Colorado, last Sunday.
The primary focus will continue to be on the "Big, Beautiful Bill," but House Speaker Mike Johnson hit the Sunday shows to weigh in on other issues, such as his support of President Donald Trump's decision to activate the National Guard to help quell the rioting in Southern California.

White House What's Up
After a busy weekend, including attending a UFC match on Saturday and Sunday at Camp David, President Trump will return to the White House on Monday morning. In the afternoon, he'll participate in an Invest America Roundtable.
He's also standing firm (along with Vice President JD Vance) on the response to the riots in L.A.
Full Court Press...
The Supreme Court is set to issue opinions again on Thursday. In the meantime, they've also been issuing orders in the emergency docket cases, including some wins for the Trump administration.

No doubt, we'll see more legal wrangling between the administration and California, with the state vowing to challenge Trump's activation of the National Guard. I believe CA will end up with the short end of the stick on that legal battle should it play out.
On Tuesday afternoon, President Trump will deliver remarks at Fort Bragg in North Carolina.
Washington, D.C., is gearing up for the big 250th birthday celebration for the Army next weekend. That's sure to be a show.
I didn't watch the Belmont Stakes on Saturday. I was busy alternating between some much-needed house cleaning and watching the bedlam in L.A. Still, this headline caught my attention:
It feels as though there's a message there, but I can't quite put my finger on it...
Speaking of journalism, though, a big shout-out to those independent journalists who have been on the ground covering the situation in L.A., frequently at the expense of their own safety.
When you find moments that afford you this much contentment, embrace them!
