Schiff is under scrutiny following a criminal referral sent by the Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA) to the Department of Justice (DOJ) in May.
SB 79: Sacramento’s Plot to Shove High-Rises Into Your Neighborhood — And Shut You Up About It
This is what happens when Sacramento politicians get drunk on ideology and developer cash. SB 79 is a brazen power grab that ignores the voices of the very people it claims to protect.
Accountability? DNI Gabbard Says Whistleblowers Are Now 'Coming Out of the Woodwork' on Russiagate
It's understandable that, after all this time and all that has transpired over the past decade, those hoping for the truth to come out and justice to be served have grown weary and somewhat jaded. But based on Gabbard's comments here, it sounds as though there's cause to hope that there will be accountability after all.

Trump Wants SCOTUS to Squash Gun Rules
I won't say President Trump is perfect by any stretch of the imagination. However, at least in this term, he's really stood by his word to support and defend the Second Amendment. He said no one would touch our guns, and he meant it.
Minneapolis Mayor Loses Democratic Endorsement to Somali Socialist Candidate
It is insane. But it seems to be the future of the Democratic Party.
The Deep State Is in Real Trouble Now
Now, the truth is starting to catch up with them. And if there’s any justice left in Washington, the days of these Deep-State plotters skating by unpunished may finally be numbered.
About That NYT Story on the 'Troubling' Encounter Between an Epstein Accuser and Donald Trump
The whole story reeks of jumping the gun for obvious political purposes, but that’s the legacy press. The scraping at the bottom of the barrel here is beyond pathetic.
Schiff, of course, has been radio silent on the charges so far—probably too busy plotting his next "insurrection" narrative or whatever nonsense he's cooking up.
Today on Capitol Hill...
Okay...now that the One Big Beautiful Bill and Rescissions Package #1 have made their way through Congress, the focus turns to the appropriations bills. The House has passed two (of 12), and its Subcommittee on Financial Services and General Government will be prepping the annual spending bill today. Meanwhile, the Senate Appropriations Committee approved the FY26 Military Construction, Veterans Affairs, and Related Agencies (MilCon-VA) Appropriations Act last week (26-3), setting it up for a vote later this week.
The House is set to wrap this week and then take its summer recess (until September). The Senate? Well, who knows? President Donald Trump is urging Senate Majority Leader John Thune to keep working and clear the backlog of nominees.

There are three meetings/hearings set for Monday:
White House What's Up
President Trump will have lunch with Vice President JD Vance on Monday. Later in the week, he's set to head to Scotland. In the meantime, his Truth Social posts will, no doubt, keep folks buzzing.
Full Court Press...
As we noted on Friday, Trump took legal action against the Wall Street Journal and Rupert Murdoch over their Epstein birthday card story, filing a defamation suit in the Southern District of Florida. That case has now been assigned to Judge Darrin Gayles (an Obama appointee). We can expect a motion to dismiss shortly, and that will have to be battled out — maybe all the way through appeals — before the case reaches discovery.
Trump did lose his suit against Simon & Schuster and Bob Woodward over copyright issues surrounding Woodwork's audiobook regarding Trump. The judge in that case granted the defendants' Motion to Dismiss on Friday.
We should be getting a ruling out of Judge Indira Talwani in Massachusetts today on the preliminary injunction in the Planned Parenthood funding case. No doubt, that will raise some eyebrows, too.
As noted, President Trump heads to Scotland at the end of this week.
The documents disclosed by Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard on Friday were undoubtedly a bombshell, even though for many, they simply confirmed what was long suspected about the lengths the Deep Establishment State went to in order to trip Trump up. As I reported yesterday, Gabbard indicates that there is more to come and there are whistleblowers "coming out of the woodwork" now, and perhaps there will be additional revelations to come. Certainly, it would be nice to see some accountability for any corrupt, deceptive actions taken. And maybe there will be.
I'll simply say that I'm not going to hold my breath over it. There are way too many variables to predict with confidence where this all will lead. Sometimes, I intentionally mangle idioms to have some fun with them. A favorite: We'll blow that bridge up when we come to it. To me, the buzz surrounding RussiaGate/SpyGate/DeepStateGate is intriguing...but warrants a wait-and-see approach. In other words: Don't count your chickens before they come home to roost.
Warms the heart.
