You might remember that during Donald Trump’s first term in the Oval Office, Melania did not move into the White House right away, opting instead to stay in New York City and raise their son Barron. The Washington press went nuts with conspiracy theories about how she was a kept woman, a virtual hostage, and that she actually despised her husband and wanted to divorce him as soon as humanly possible.
Contrast that to the glowing coverage they gave former First Lady Michelle Obama, who seems to be growing increasingly bitter in recent months, and Jill Biden, who many believe committed elder abuse by urging her husband to continue his reelection bid despite obvious cognitive issues.
Of course, as usual, the majority of the press got it completely wrong, and the First Lady has embraced the job the second go around and seemed to be genuinely thrilled to be part of this Great Experiment on its 249th birthday.
She even replicated the president’s signature dance move done to the Village People’s 1978 smash hit, “YMCA:”
Does this look like a miserable woman to you?
It was a big day for the president as he signed his signature tax and spending measure, “The One Big Beautiful Bill,” before overseeing the big fireworks show:
First Lady Melania Trump celebrated the Fourth of July, which coincided with the signing of President Trump’s “Big, Beautiful Bill,” by emulating her husband’s signature dance on the balcony of the White House.
Melania struck a pose as she shimmied alongside the president while winding down their Independence Day celebrations.
The “Trump Dance” consists of the commander in chief rhythmically punching the air while swaying his hips, oftentimes to songs featured at many of his campaign rallies like the “Y.M.C.A.”
Melania waved her open palms up and down as she bounced on her feet while Trump watched on adoringly.
The First Lady is making her mark in her second stint, becoming much more outspoken, writing a book during the campaign, and getting involved in legislation:

Sentiments like these—and there are many of them dating all the way back to the first Trump term—are not ageing well.
If most of the mainstream media runs with a narrative, there’s a high chance it’s wrong. Either Melania is an Oscar-caliber actress, or she doesn’t actually hate her husband, and Sunny Hostin and her ilk just look like spiteful haters living on their own planet.
