NextImg:Melania Appears to Send a Message to Haters Amid WSJ Trump-Epstein Drama

First Lady Melania Trump appeared to send a message on Friday to haters following the Wall Street Journal's alleged scoop about President Donald Trump and his relationship with Jeffrey Epstein.

In a post on X by the official account for Melania, the First Lady appeared to do several things. Number 1. Throw her support behind her husband, whom she writes about in loving terms. 2. Push back against those on the left who think Epstein was the person who introduced President Trump and Melania. And 3. Make it crystal clear that she has no time for their hate as a #1 New York Times Bestseller.

"#1 New York Times Bestseller, "Melania" || How I Met Donald Trump," Melania's post read, referencing a chapter in her bestselling memoir titled "Melania" that was released in 2024. The post also includes a link to her website.

The post included a screenshot of two pages in Chapter 5, starting with her retelling the story about the night she met Trump on a Friday night in September 1998, pointing out she didn't even want to go out that evening when a friend invited her to join her, but decided it was silly to stay home.

The entire excerpt from the book can be read here. But for this report, I will only include a few of the parts that stood out.

As we arrived at the Kit Kat Klub, the energy of the crowd and the dazzling lights greeted us. Inside, the dark, crowded space buzzed with models, photographers, editors, and designers mingling on this Fashion Week Saturday night … I settled in upstairs at our table in the VIP section, where the atmosphere was one of sophistication and camaraderie.

I saw my friend wave at someone behind me. When I turned around, I noticed a man and an attractive blonde woman approach-"Hi. I'm Donald Trump, the man said when he reached my table. "Nice to meet you." I recognized the name, and I knew he was a businessman or celebrity, but not much else. He put his hand out to shake mine.

"Hello," I replied. "I'm Melania." His eyes filled with curiosity and interest, and, seizing the opportunity, he took the seat next to mine and started a conversation. He asked me about my time in New York, my Slovenian home, and my world travels. It was a moment of connection, a brief encounter that left a lasting impression. It was nice to make a new acquaintance.

He was accompanied by a beautiful date, so I initially dismissed our conversation as mere pleasantries exchanged at an industry event …From the moment our conversation began, I was captivated by his charm and easygoing nature. There was so much bustling activity around us, but his intent focus on our interaction made me feel like the center of his world. It was a refreshing departure from the usual superficial small talk, and I found myself drawn to his magnetic energy."

The timing of the post wasn't missed by many, considering it came within 24 hours of the “exclusive” WSJ report involving Trump and Epstein, as RedState reported.

As my colleague Joe Cunningham reported, the "scoop" involved a "bawdy" birthday card allegedly sent by Trump to Epstein back in 2003 for his 50th birthday.

In more than just a few words, Trump hit back at the WSJ report and said he had nothing to do with it.

The Truth Social post read:

The Wall Street Journal, and Rupert Murdoch, personally, were warned directly by President Donald J. Trump that the supposed letter they printed by President Trump to Epstein was a FAKE and, if they print it, they will be sued. Mr. Murdoch stated that he would take care of it but, obviously, did not have the power to do so. The Editor of The Wall Street Journal, Emma Tucker, was told directly by Karoline Leavitt, and by President Trump, that the letter was a FAKE, but Emma Tucker didn’t want to hear that. Instead, they are going with a false, malicious, and defamatory story anyway.

President Trump then promised a lawsuit was coming.

President Trump will be suing The Wall Street Journal, NewsCorp, and Mr. Murdoch, shortly. The Press has to learn to be truthful, and not rely on sources that probably don’t even exist. President Trump has already beaten George Stephanopoulos/ABC, 60 Minutes/CBS, and others, and looks forward to suing and holding accountable the once great Wall Street Journal. It has truly turned out to be a “Disgusting and Filthy Rag” and, writing defamatory lies like this, shows their desperation to remain relevant. If there were any truth at all on the Epstein Hoax, as it pertains to President Trump, this information would have been revealed by Comey, Brennan, Crooked Hillary, and other Radical Left Lunatics years ago. It certainly would not have sat in a file waiting for “TRUMP” to have won three Elections. This is yet another example of FAKE NEWS!

Indeed, just minutes ago, Trump followed up on his threat and filed the lawsuit, as RedState's Susie Moore reported:
