Like husband, like wife?
Or, should that be, "like Marxist, antisemitic NYC Democrat mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani, like his wife, Rama Duwaji?"
Yeah, I like the second iteration better, too. I'll explain why in a bit.
First, as RedState reported on Sunday, as the ceasefire between Israel and Hamas became a reality, the radical terrorist group faced violent clashes with rival Palestinian militias inside Gaza. Saleh al-Jafarawi, a pro-Hamas, antisemitic social media influencer with more than three million followers, was reportedly killed in one of those clashes.

And on Monday, Rama Duwaji publicly grieved al-Jafarawi's death on Instagram, posting four broken-heart emojis, and mourning "Beloved Jafarawi," as she called the radical antisemite.
How fitting for Mamdani, likely the next mayor of New York City, huh? You know — to have a no-doubt loving wife who is apparently at least as radical as he is.
The Palestinian Influencer who was known for his viral social media videos, was killed by an anti-Hamas militia in Gaza.
Like her Marxist hubby, Duwaji has been outspoken about the Israel-Hamas war, as well as a fierce critic of how the U.S. responded to the horrific October 7, 2023, Hamas terrorist attack inside Israel that left roughly 1,200 men, women, and children slaughtered, and another 251 taken hostage.
As RedState reported on Monday, all 20 of the remaining living hostages have been released by Hamas, a critical first step of President Donald Trump's 20-point peace plan between Israel and the terrorist organization. However, according to reports, only four of the 28 deceased hostages are currently being released.
Born in Texas to Syrian parents and partly raised in Dubai, 27-year-old activist Rama Duwaji is a New York-based illustrator, known for her pro-Palestinian work. Her illustrations have appeared on BBC News and in The New York Times, The Washington Post, Vice, and London's Tate Modern museum.
"Rama isn't just my wife; she's an incredible artist who deserves to be known on her own terms," Mamdani wrote in a post on May 12, announcing they had been married three months earlier.
Yeah, well, Zohran — your lovely wife's "own terms" were on full display as she grieved the death of "Beloved Jafarawi."
With New York voters likely to get exactly what they voted for, if not more, Mamdani will become the Big Apple's next mayor, and the "incredible" Duwaji, its soon-to-be First Lady.
How fitting.
With the handsome couple — Zohran Mamdani and Rama Duwaji — all but a shoo-in to become the next inhabitants of Gracie Mansion, New Yorkers will be subject to the radical policies that the Mamdanis embody: policies that have already eroded public safety, undermined economic growth, and prioritized fringe activism over everyday citizens’ needs.
Moreover, Mamdani's “defund the police” rhetoric, which he has tried to walk back, when New Yorkers already face rising concerns about street violence, organized theft, and a lack of consistent policing, will likely worsen if (when) he becomes mayor.
Toss in higher taxes on businesses and stricter regulations, and the Mamdanis might drive corporations and middle-class taxpayers out of the city, likely leading to reduced job opportunities and shrinking tax revenue.
But, hey — "New York, New York," right?
