Democratic socialist New York City mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani made it crystal clear he's on the wrong side when he refused to call on Hamas to lay down their weapons and doubled down on this threat to arrest Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu following President Donald Trump's historic peace deal.
During his appearance on Fox News on Wednesday, anchor Martha MacCallum interviewed the radical leftist candidate about the murder of Palestinians by the terrorist group, even after it agreed to lay down their weapons as part of the historic peace agreement.

MacCallum: "You won't say that Hamas should lay down their arms and give up leadership in Gaza?"
Mamdani: "I don't really have opinions about the future of Hamas and Israel beyond the question of justice and safety, and the fact that anything has to abide by international law. And that applies to Hamas, that applies to the Israeli military, applies to anyone you could ask me about."
MacCallum asked if Mamdani would at least give credit to President Donald Trump for the peace deal, but he refused to do that as well.
MacCallum: "Would you give President Trump credit or not? To any extent. Credit or not?"
Mamdani: "I think it's too early to do so. But if it proves to be something that's lasting, something that is durable, then I think that that is where you give credit."
Catch that? He said someone would give credit and made sure not to answer whether he would be doing so.

At one point in the interview, the Democrat mayoral hopeful reiterated his promise to get the NYPD to arrest Netanyahu if the Israeli Prime Minister were ever to come to New York City in the event Mamdani is elected mayor, referencing a warrant against Netanyahu from the International Criminal Court (ICC), which the U.S. doesn't recognize.
"I've said that this is a city that believes in international law," Mamdani said.
MacCallum: "The United States does not stand by the International Criminal Court.
Mamdani: "The ICC, however, has issued a warrant for the arrest of Netanyahu."
MacCallum: "On what grounds in the United States could you arrest him on?"
This man would be a disaster for the biggest city in America. C'mon, New Yorkers.
