As violence and chaos dominate the streets of downtown Los Angeles for the third evening, Mayor Karen Bass held a press conference and made clear that she had no plan for a return to normalcy, claiming that President Trump "provoked" the chaos and urging people to "continue expressing your right, your anger, your outrage" in the city.

In this clip, Bass said:

People should also exercise that [First Amendment] right peacefully. We do not want to play into the administration's hands. We're working with officials, we're organizing resources, but what we're seeing in Los Angeles is chaos that is provoked by the administration. When you raid Home Depot and workplaces, when you tear parents and children apart, and when you run armored caravans through our streets, you cause fear and you cause panic, and deploying federalized troops is a dangerous escalation.

But we need to be real about this. This is about another agenda. It's not about Public Safety. There's clearly no plan, and there is clearly no policy. I want the people of Los Angeles to know that we stand with all Angelenos, no matter where you were born. The First Amendment right gives you the ability again to protest peacefully, but it does not give you the right to be violent to create chaos or to vandalize property, and that will not be tolerated.

So I call on all Angelenos to continue expressing your right, your anger, your outrage, but to do it peacefully.

And I just have to say that, all of you were there Friday. Everybody knows what happened Friday. A workplace several workplaces were targeted, and raids took place....

Between her blame of the administration for daring to enforce the law and advocating for people to stay angry and keep expressing it, Karen Bass continues to incite violence against her own police officers and federal officers. Shortly after she spoke, several Waymo cars were set ablaze in downtown Los Angeles.

Waymo operates an entirely electric vehicle fleet, so as those batteries burn they're are emitting toxic smoke and the fire can't be extinguished by conventional means.

Also, around the time Bass spoke, U.S. Northern Command issued a press release stating that 500 U.S. Marines from nearby Twentynine Palms are in a "prepared to deploy" status and could be sent into Los Angeles if the situation continues to deteriorate.

Thanks to President Trump, illegal immigration into our great country has virtually stopped. Despite the radical left's lies, new legislation wasn't needed to secure our border, just a new president.
