NextImg:Karoline Leavitt Weighs in on Naked Bike Ride Protest in Portland That Didn't End Well

We would probably be remiss if we didn't report on that naked bike ride protest we said would be held in Portland. It's a yearly event that takes place usually in the summer. However, they held one on Sunday, terming it an "emergency" ride to protest ICE and having any National Guard deployment to the city.

“Joy is a form of protest. Being together with mutual respect and kindness is a form of protest,” the ride’s organizers said on Instagram. “It’s your choice how much or little you wear.”

I have a question, though. How is it "respectful" to your fellow citizens for them to have to be assaulted by the view of a lot of ugly, naked people? Aren't there kids in the streets?

And frankly, I wasn't seeing the "joy."

It took place on Sunday, accompanied by some rain. The local station fuzzed out the nakedness in this clip.

Now, I wouldn't torture you with full views of the participants. I'll give you fair warning — you can check that out here from Jorge Ventura and here from The Post Millennial's Katie Daviscourt. Thankfully, most appeared to be dressed in some fashion, but there were still many who were naked.

They even had a "die-in" on Burnside Bridge, with a lot of naked people lying in the road.

So what did they manage to do? Did ICE fold and say they give up, they wouldn't enforce the law anymore after this stunning confrontation? Were they just overcome by the "joy" of it all?

Amazingly, no. ICE is still operating in Portland — the feds were not stopped by the action. ICE agents might need eye bleach or some counseling after having to view the radical leftists in their birthday suits. But all the left did with this was expose their shortcomings, to paraphrase what David Niven said at the 1974 Oscars when a streaker ran across the stage. Strangely enough, riding around naked doesn't stop agents from enforcing the law.

"If you think this is crazy, congratulations, you’re a Republican!" White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt responded to Katie Daviscourt's post about the ride. If someone needed any more encouragement to switch, this might do the trick for folks who understand that the Democrats are just off the rails.

It didn't stop ICE from later taking some of the people who were at the facility into custody on Sunday and employing some pepper balls. The anti-ICE crew was not happy about some of their compatriots being taken down in the mud, so they screamed their heads off and demanded they be let go.

There were many agents present, as well as counter-protesters carrying a large painting of Charlie Kirk on it and multiple American flags, supporting ICE.

So I'm thinking it didn't quite work out as they hoped.

Editor’s Note: The Schumer Shutdown is here. Rather than put the American people first, Chuck Schumer and the radical Democrats forced a government shutdown for healthcare for illegals. They own this.
