Last year, I led the Pennsylvania Chase effort to help Donald Trump pull off a win in the largest swing state. Now, I’m joining him and calling for an end to mail-in voting.
Let’s be clear: I despise mail-in ballots. They’re a clunky, delay-ridden mess that erodes trust in our elections. President Trump’s plan to restore single-day, in-person voting with watermarked paper ballots is exactly what we need to restore faith in our elections again.
Trump’s Executive Order, set to drop before the midterms, will end mail-in ballots and secure electronic voting machines, replacing them with verified paper ballots and voter ID. Democrats are screaming, but their gripes are Déjà Blue—defending a broken system that fuels skepticism.
Mail-in ballots invite errors and delays, with reports of lost military votes and processing hiccups. Electronic machines? Glitches galore—voters have seen their choices flip on screens.
“Water pipe breaks” and covered polling station windows, like in 2020, only deepen distrust. Single-day, in-person voting with paper ballots, counted that night, cuts through the chaos and proves every vote counts.
The Heritage Foundation’s election integrity data backs this up: mail-in systems and machines create vulnerabilities—lost ballots, slow counts, and errors that shake faith. Watermarked paper ballots, in-person voting, and same-day counts, standard before the pandemic, work. They’re secure, verifiable, and fast.
Polls like Rasmussen’s 2025 survey show 73% of Americans want voter ID—people crave trust in their vote. If someone only votes because a ballot’s mailed to their couch, they’re not engaged enough to pick leaders wisely.
Since the announcement, I've received thousands of emails, texts, and calls. The voters I’ve talked to are excited, but concerned because they love the EO, but they’re also worried that it might eliminate PA Chase.
They’re worried because they know how effective we’ve been at flipping blue territory into red, and they don’t want that to change.
It won’t.
For years now, we've used door knocking to win. In 2024, because of the rules, we used the tactic of chasing ballots because that's what it takes under the current rules.
Until the rules change, we are all in on chasing ballots in PA to build what we’ve labeled the “red wall”.
When I grew up in the Philadelphia suburbs, we had one day of voting and knew the winner the night of the election, but since the pandemic, the Democrats turned it into 50 days of voting, so we had no other choice than to compete to win elections based on how the rules are currently structured. This means Republicans must chase ballots. Period.
If this executive order goes through, we simply go back to knocking doors to advocate for candidates and causes, because as patriots we play by the rules as the rules are.
We want to get citizens informed and active in the process. Under the current rules, we’re chasing mail-in ballots, turning out both early and election day voters, and educating voters about key issues, awful politicians, and patriotic politicians so they can make better choices.
The security measures proposed by Trump need to be reimplemented immediately for the future of our nation, and it's worth noting that this is exactly what most Americans want.
Unfortunately, we do have a fight ahead of us because just like liberal judges all over the country have been doing with every other decision Trump has made, they’re already queuing up to fight this one as well. The battle is just getting started, but because Trump campaigned on, and was elected by 77 million Americans, among other reasons, to restore integrity in our elections, I’m confident that he will.
But mark my words: PA’s radical Governor Josh Shapiro will fight tooth and nail to keep any rules that give him an advantage for his 2026 re-election campaign, and ultimately, his 2028 Presidential campaign.
The battle for fair elections is a battle we must all support. In the meantime, the PA CHASE will continue our work, under the current rules, to beat the Democrats at their own game.
