President Trump is overseeing a winning streak that no president in my lifetime has come close to accomplishing. We are currently not allowing any illegal aliens into the country—zero, none. DHS has ramped up deportations. Peace deals involving historical countries seem to be happening regularly. Right now, President Trump is working to end the war in Ukraine. The number of companies investing billions of dollars into the U.S. economy is staggering. All of this has happened while the legacy media cries liberal tears.
Years before the 2024 election, the talking heads worked day and night to make Trump radioactive. The lawfare he endured over that same period is like nothing we’ve ever seen for a former president. Thankfully, President Trump kept moving forward, and now every American is reaping the benefits of his “fight, fight, fight” attitude. Just last Friday, President Trump and his most ardent supporters received vindication from an unlikely source—Russian President Vladimir Putin. During a press conference between the Russian president and President Trump, Putin confirmed clearly that the war in Ukraine would not have started had President Trump still been in office:
"In the end, I would like to add one more thing. I'd like to remind you that in 2022, during the last contact with the previous administration, I tried to convince my previous American colleague... that the situation should not be brought to the point of no return when it would come to hostilities. I said it quite directly back then that it's a big mistake," Putin added. "Today when President Trump [said] that if he was the president back then, there would be no war. And I'm quite sure that it would indeed be so, I can confirm that.”
Queue the media meltdown. This phrase from Putin has brought immediate vindication to all Trump supporters, but there is one group specifically that is soaking in this revelation—evangelical pastors and leaders. For pastors who supported President Trump early, the public backlash and unknown future were real risks. It’s always easier to stay silent, but these leaders stepped out to share what they believed was another pivotal moment in our country's history.
Historical evangelical pastors like Franklin Graham, Jentezen Franklin, Robert Jeffress, and Jack Graham put their legacies on the line, along with many others. Younger pastors like Josh Howerton regularly spoke about the importance of politics and put their careers in jeopardy. For many evangelicals, confirmation from these pastors about how they were feeling made all the difference. America has always looked to our leaders for guidance, and many times, there is great risk involved.
The Defense Secretary Is Right: All of Christ for All of Life
We are at the very beginning stages of President Trump’s second term. "Consequential" is a word that looms large over this important season in our country’s history. World leaders have come to the White House this week to continue the peace process—a process that didn’t start until President Trump won reelection. For longtime supporters, it’s less about vindication and more about the country regaining its footing as the America we know and love.
Editor’s Note: Thanks to President Trump and his administration’s bold leadership, we are respected on the world stage, and our enemies are being put on notice.
