Fox News' "The Five" liberal host Jessica Tarlov admitted that immigration is definitely a win for Republicans and a loss for Democrats, as she pointed to how the GOP absolutely moved the needle in the 2024 election after red state governors decided to bus illegal aliens into northern blue states.
In a recently resurfaced clip on X, Tarlov sat down with Katie Couric on her podcast "Next Question with Katie Couric." The two discussed the results of the 2024 election after President Donald Trump's victory.
Tarlov made it clear Democrats were not prepared for what happened in the country after Texas Governor Greg Abbott and Florida Governor Ron DeSantis in 2023 loaded buses of illegals and sent them to places like New York, Chicago, Washington, D.C., and more, making it an issue for all of the country, not just border and red states.

New Poll Being Silenced by Media Blows Up Democrats' Narratives
"There was a tendency among Democrats, and especially amongst Democrats who are discussing the issue, so people who do interviews or are part of the media, to minimize [illegal immigration issue] it over the first two-and-a-half years," Tarlov said. "When there were A LOT of people coming in here."
"And I thought that it was a stunt when they started busing migrants ... [to Martha's Vineyard]. It was the smartest thing they ever did," she added.
Couric said a friend of hers who lives in Florida loved it.
"I have a friend who lives in Florida. And I said, 'What did you think of Ron DeSantis and Greg Abbott taking some of these immigrants and moving them to northern states?'" Couric replied. "And she said, 'I thought it was great because nobody really was paying attention before that.' And I do think the untold story was the strain on social services…this huge influx of immigrants was having, and I think the mainstream media kind of ignored that to its peril.”
So, for those keeping track, that's two liberals in the media admitting that there was not only a "A lot of people coming in here" and a "huge influx" of illegals coming into our country under former President Joe Biden, but that it was hurting Americans.
Got to love it when the truth finally comes out. Despite all the howling we heard for four years under Biden about how it was no big deal, the invasion into our country, Democrats knew they were hurting the country and didn't care in order to remain in power. That's quite the admission from these two.
Do we really think Tarlov and Couric would admit this was the case if former vice president word salad queen Kamala Harris had won? Even if they knew it was true? I don't think so.
Led by these strong red state governors, the GOP was brilliant in making illegal immigration an issue for the entire country, and it resulted in sending Trump back into the White House.
And every poll since Trump launched his immigration crackdown, including closing the border and arresting illegal criminal aliens, proves this is a winning issue for the GOP.
It is also more proof of why the Democrats, led by the radical left's anti-ICE protests and violence, want it to just go away, because they lose on it.
