In the push to erase the word "women" from the public lexicon, we've heard some pretty insulting terms in recent years used to describe women, like "people with uteruses," "bodies with vaginas," "menstruating people" - essentially terms that boil women down to the sum of their lady parts.

Ranking among the worst of them, if not the worst, has been the term "birthing people," which has been used by academics, the woke left, so-called "scientists," and the mainstream media not just to describe women, but also women who identify as men but who still have the female organs needed to reproduce. 

"Every day, black birthing people and our babies die because our doctors don’t believe our pain. My children almost became a statistic. I almost became a statistic," former House member Cori Bush (D-MO), a member of AOC's infamous "Squad," once said during a Congressional hearing.

As it turns out, a veteran female BBC presenter who was giving a report on the weather recently was not having it when "birthing people" was put into the teleprompter for her to say. Instead, she corrected it to say "women" while proceeding with the rest of the story:

The presenter [Martine Croxall] was quoting Dr Malcolm Mistry, an assistant professor at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine, who said “pregnant people” are more at risk of death during a heatwave in the UK.

Croxall said: “Malcolm Mistry, who was involved in the research, says that the aged, pregnant people … women … and those with pre-existing health conditions need to take precautions.”

Popular "Harry Potter" author JK Rowling, who has taken an insane amount of heat and harassment from the trans community over her stance on gender identity politics, didn't hesitate to chime in:

Croxall acknowledged all the attention her report received, writing, "A huge thank you to everyone who has chosen to follow me today for whatever reason. It’s been quite a ride…"

On the other hand, the Outrage Mob is already doing their thing:

For the most part, though, Croxall received praise for her "revolutionary act," not just from Rowling but from others who understand that, though recent high court rulings in the UK and the United States have equated to massive setbacks for transgender rights advocates, the fight is not even close to over.
