We're within hours of Donald Trump reassuming the White House and sending befuddled old Joe Biden off into the sunset - or back to Rehoboth Beach, not that Joe will know the difference. Our long national nightmare is drawing to a close, Donald Trump will carry out his historic non-consecutive second term, and we have a brilliant understudy in JD Vance - in fact, the younger generation of the GOP is full of stars, making us feel a little better about the country's future.
The occasion prompts one to take a look at President Trump's history - everything that has led us up to this moment. And, on his Truth Social platform (cross-posted to X), a new video from the Trump organization is giving us a good look at that history, and it's drawing accolades from X users - along with a few jabs from people that President Trump would probably (and correctly) describe as losers.
One commenter made a note of the very real danger the president-elect faced, not once, but twice in his 2024 campaign.
While some others pointed out the sense of happiness and relief a lot of people are feeling that the Biden administration is being shown the door and Trump is returning.
We'll be remembering the campaign for years.
There are a lot of people, as one of the posters notes, looking forward to Monday. Granted, the president-elect - or starting Monday, simply the president - sure seems to have big plans for Inauguration Day, so he may not spend much time shaking hands and waving to the public. That's all right; we elected him to take care of business, and he seems determined to do just that in a manner that would make Fred Turner and Ronnie and Randy Bachman proud.

Of course, like any political figure, the president-elect has his detractors - but they generally only succeed in embarrassing themselves.
What are these people, 12 years old? The left may not have a monopoly on childish stupidity, but they sure seem to specialize in it.
And, of course, we'll remember this moment as the defining one of the 2024 campaign; this is, very likely, the moment he won the election.
The purpose of this video, like any such video, is to evoke an emotional response in the viewer. This piece of video sure does that - on both sides - and in so doing, reveals the left for what it is: Childish losers.
It's going to be a fun four years, if for no other reason than because of the oceans of liberal tears that will be shed. Stay tuned, because we're in for the long haul.
