Poor David Hogg.
The overly bitter, gun-grabbing, left-wing activist, and former co-vice chair of the Democratic National Committee (until he was effectively kicked to the curb suffered a humiliating defeat on Tuesday after his PAC-backed candidate in the Arizona special election was thoroughly thrashed.
Hogg's response? To attack the Democrat Party for the crushing loss.
Generally, any attack against the Democrat Party is likely a good thing, but in this case, while Hogg was partially right in his attack, he was right for all of the wrong reasons. Stay with me.
According to The New York Times, with 77 percent of the vote counted, Hogg’s congressional candidate, Gen Z’s Deja Foxx, had 21.1 percent, and the winner, Adelita Grijalva, had 62 percent. Adding insult to injury, Western Journal noted that Foxx went “down in flames.”
Western Journal added that Foxx was Hogg’s “plan to meddle in the party’s primaries to get more young, far-left activists involved.”
Yeah, well, better luck next time, David. (Not really; just saying.)
So Hogg fired up X on Thursday to blame the Democrat Party for Foxx's humiliating defeat, which I suppose was a logical reaction — by Hogg's "standards," that is.
Seriously, David? (Emphasis, mine.)
The Democratic Party's approval rating is one of the lowest it has ever been. It's beyond time for do-nothing Democrats to get out. If you can't see the problem, you ARE the problem. Healthy competition in our primaries is an asset to be utilized - not a liability to be managed.
Dude, you might want to check yourself in the mirror.
While, yes, the Democrat Party's ratings are swirling down the toilet as we speak, it's not happening because Democrat lawmakers aren't more like Hogg — meaning even more radical than he is.
It's happening because the Democrat Party party still doesn't get it; Democrat lawmakers still don't understand that their radical policies, coupled with attempting to scaremonger the bejesus out of voters about President Donald Trump, 24x7x365, is why the party decisively lost the 2024 general election, beginning with Trump's historic win, and continuing in key down-ballot races.
In other words, if the Democrat Party followed Hogg's ridiculous lead, it would be in even worse shape than it already is.
Did I mention that Hogg on Wednesday defended Zohran Mamdani, the Democrat (Marxist) nominee for New York City mayor? Yeah. Hogg said:
A lot of stuff that I think is very, you know, racist. A lot of times it wasn’t even focused on his (Mamdani's) actual policy, it was more focused on him and his identity.
Editor’s Note: The Democrat Party has never been less popular as voters reject its globalist agenda.
