NextImg:'Full Force': Trump Drops the Hammer on Portland Anti-ICE Radicals in Announcement on Troop Deployment

As RedState has extensively reported, there have been many violent attacks on immigration enforcement agents and detention facilities across the country since President Trump was sworn in for his second term, with the violence escalating from month to month to the point that anti-ICE extremists are firing shots in attempts to kill the agents.

In one instance over the summer, a law enforcement officer in Alvaredo, Texas, was wounded after an attempted ambush by multiple individuals on the ICE Prairieland detention facility didn't go according to plan.

And in a more disturbing incident, a deranged person opened fire at a Dallas ICE field office. The suspect's intention, according to FBI Director Kash Patel, was to hit ICE agents, but he shot three detainees instead, killing one of them before turning the gun on himself.

As we've also reported, Portland, Oregon, the scene of much anti-ICE activity over the years, especially during the first Trump administration and now this one, saw federal agents crush an attack in June on an ICE facility there, which reportedly involved the agitators "breaking out the glass front doors, breaching the building, and trashing the outside."

More recently, however, the Portland "protesters" have taken even more concerning actions, including bringing in a guillotine while playing a song with the lyrics "We got the guillotine, you better run" in the background.

The continued threats of violence from the leftist radicals in Portland against ICE agents who are simply upholding immigration law have now prompted President Trump to take action:

President Trump ordered the Department of War to dispatch “all necessary” troops to Portland, Oregon, to secure the city and safeguard Immigration and Customs Enforcement personnel, he said Saturday.

Trump also confirmed he is “authorizing Full Force, if necessary,” amid a spate of daily protests against the federal ICE detention facility in Portland that have intensified since June.

“At the request of Secretary of Homeland Security, Kristi Noem, I am directing Secretary of War, Pete Hegseth, to provide all necessary Troops to protect War ravaged Portland, and any of our ICE Facilities under siege from attack by Antifa, and other domestic terrorists,” Trump declared on Truth Social.

“I am also authorizing Full Force, if necessary.”

Trump's announcement follows his declaration of Antifa, which has a large presence in Portland, as a terrorist organization on Monday.

This is a developing story. Stay tuned to RedState for updates.

Editor’s Note: Democrat politicians and their radical supporters will do everything they can to interfere with and threaten ICE agents enforcing our immigration laws.
