Fox’s Bill Melugin, the reporter who has been bringing us concerning reports at the border for some time, posted some things on Tuesday that showed just how badly Joe Biden and his team are dealing with the situation.
Melugin posted numerous videos and retweeted other reporters’ videos of how bad the problem was with thousands streaming across the border during the day. Here’s just a small sample, you can go to Melugin’s timeline and see many more illegal aliens flooding across the border.
Melugin reported Rep. Tony Gonzales (R-TX) said the President of Guatemala told him that 80,000 Venezuelans were on their way to the border. One would think that would be a serious issue that would make the White House sit up and take notice. But according to Gonzales no one at the White House was taking his calls to deal with the situation.
Gonzales confirmed Melugin’s report.
Texas Rep. Tony Gonzales, who represents some 450 miles of the southern border, said he learned of the hordes of migrants while speaking to the Guatemalan president.
“There are 80,000 illegals cutting through Guatemala right now,” the Republican told The Post, adding the alarming figure prompted him to call the Biden Administration to share the information.
“I called the White House and no one is picking up,” the exasperated US Representative added.
Remember when Kamala Harris met with the Guatemalan president about the “root causes” in June 2021? Then in December 2021, the president said that was the only time that they had talked. So much for any effort to deal with the situation.
This all shows just how seriously they are taking the problem. Indeed, they seem to want it to get worse, and it will now with the lifting of Title 42.
That was the first trainwreck action by the Biden team that Melugin reported. But that wasn’t all.
Hundreds if not thousands of illegal aliens have been lining the streets of El Paso for months, except for the drive-by visit of Joe Biden when they were cleared off the street so he wouldn’t look as bad. Melugin reported that even there, the Biden team was a train wreck. They announced — ahead of time — that they were planning to take action against the illegal aliens living in the street, “targeting gotaways and evaders.”
So because they announced it ahead of time, they lost the element of surprise, and the illegal aliens were alerted to leave the area.
On top of that, there are now also reports that some of those illegal aliens flooding the streets of El Paso are “confirmed members of Tren de Aragua, a gang that emerged from a Venezuelan prison in Tocoron.”
According to D.C. Examiner Anna Giaritelli’s source, “MS-13 has nothing on them.” Oh, joy. Great job dealing with that too, Joe.
But as we already reported, they’re going to be doing mass releases into the streets so expect this problem to get far worse, in cities across the country.
If they were trying to let everyone in and destroy the border, would they do anything differently? Their responses show they don’t truly care about enforcement.
