Elon Musk's work with DOGE makes me love him on a patriotic and brother-in-arms kind of level, but it's the fact that he has his son accompany him everywhere he goes, including into the Oval Office, that makes me like him on a personal level.
I even wrote about how Elon Musk is inadvertently helping along the pro-life movement by making it clear that children aren't a burden that need to be tucked away, but a part of one's every day life that has every right and reason to be your little shadow.

I'm not sure if the left sensed that this was something that was also empowering Musk with the people, or they're just taking any shot they can at him, but there's been a recent attempt at targeting Musk as a father. It wouldn't be the first time, but the latest attempt is so gross, and a blatant lie to boot.
Joshua Reed Eakle of "Project Liberal" reposted a video by someone named Mukhtar, who referred to little X as Musk's "human shield son."
"Elon Musk walks off and leaves his 4 year old son wandering off stage by himself," posted Eakle. "This clip legitimately disturbs—and saddens—me."
Only the clip is a complete lie, and is selectively edited to make Musk looks like he's just walking away without a care in the world for his own son. As you can see in this video, little X is waving to people excitedly as he follows his father down some stairs. Musk disappears completely, leaving X alone, seemingly forgotten.
Only this is X — the platform, not the kid — and it took no time at all for the truth to get out of bed, put its pants on, and tackle the lie. As multiple people responded, the edited video doesn't show what really happened, which includes Musk checking on his son three different times, guiding him to where he needs to be, including the moment after the edited clip stops.
Here's the real footage.
As you can see, Musk turns around and cheers with his son as his boy comes bounding after him, and the two exit together.
This edited version is a blatant attempt at painting Musk as an uncaring individual. This isn't sloppy editing. It had to have been zoomed in, cut, and angled just right to make it work. A total hit if ever there was one.
The goal isn't hard to see. If the left can convince you he doesn't care about his son, then surely he doesn't care about this country, and the only thing that concerns him is his own fame, fortune, and power.
Only, Musk has demonstrated on many occasions that his true wealth is in his boy. No matter where Musk is, his son is right behind him. There's a clear bond there, and one that can be seen clearly in how much he happily chases his father around.
Of course, this is the right time to strike at Musk's qualities as a father, thanks to the rumors surrounding him and Ashley St. Clair having a child together. As it stands, so far, there hasn't been any confirmations or denials, but we can see that Musk actually values his children. The story of Vivian Jenna Wilson, Musk's son whose original name is "Xavier," began identifying as a woman, also shows a father who laments and regrets his actions that allowed for the transition to begin.
Musk told Jordan Peterson that he was tricked into helping Xavier transition in order to prevent suicide, and saying that his son was "killed by the woke mind virus." Of course, Wilson blames Musk, saying he was an absentee father who often made fun of him for his femininity, though at this point, it's Wilson's word against Musk, and Musk is actually demonstrating what kind of father he is on a constant basis.
It could very well be that losing Wilson is what prompted Musk to become a better father and thus, X is receiving the benefit of hard-won wisdom, or it could be that Musk was telling the truth, and he's always been the best father he could be. Either way, with the St. Clair rumors lingering in the air, the left seems to find this the perfect time to strike at Musk's personal qualities as a father.
But it's blowing up in their faces.
