As we reported, Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass had a meltdown after federal agents conducted an enforcement operation in MacArthur Park. She demanded that they leave. The Border Patrol Chief Gregory Bovino told her she better get used to it. Then she acted as though she could demand they stop enforcing federal law because she was a mayor and it was a "democracy."
Fox's Bill Melugin reported on what the Border Patrol Chief Bovino said.
“I don’t work for Karen Bass. Better get used to us now, cause this is going to be normal very soon. We will go anywhere, anytime we want in Los Angeles.”

Then, as our sister site Twitchy reported, Melugin got a tweet in response that he termed "abhorrent."
It was later deleted, but people managed to grab it.
The tweet said, “I wanna see a few dead ICE agents Los Angeles! Don’t let me down.”
The account was allegedly a man who formerly ran for city council in San Antonio and lost, Matthew Gauna.
The DHS was understandably not happy with that tweet. DHS spokesperson Tricia McLaughlin responded, calling the remarks "depraved."
McLaughlin came around to the "find out" part in her tweet saying, "We'll see you soon."
Whoops. That sounds like that guy will be getting a visit soon from the Department of Homeland Security about his tweet.
This comes at a time when there's heightened concern about the safety of federal agents due to threats and assaults on ICE and other agents. Border Czar Tom Homan has spoken out against the rise in assaults on agents and called on Congressional Democrats to stop the demonizing rhetoric.
"We have senators, we have Congress people that compare ICE to the Nazis, to racists, and it just continues!"
"The attacks on ICE are up nearly 700% now. We were talking 500% a couple weeks ago, so it continues."
There were two shootings in the past few days in Texas. Homan spoke about the one at a Praireland ICE facility. Ten people have now been arrested in that case which was described as an ambush in which a police officer was shot. The other case was where a man dressed in tactical gear allegedly shot up a Border Patrol facility. Three people were injured, including two police officers and a Border Patrol employee, and the alleged assailant was killed.

That of course is on top of other threats and violent actions against other facilities such as those in Portland.
