Democrats allocated $20 million to study how to reach out to young men in America, only to arrive at conclusions many are calling painfully predictable.
Initial results of the pricey multi-year endeavor to view men like some anthropological study have, thus far, yielded the obvious—that the Democratic party is viewed as weak and inauthentic with their outreach, expressing disdain for males by constantly telling them they need to be ashamed of who they are.
I'm sure more than a few readers would have been willing to give that information to the DNC for a fraction of the cost.
Initial findings, shared with POLITICO, show laughably evident results for a project Democrats have dubbed the Speaking with American Men project. Or SAM, for short. (In reality, the acronym would be SWAM, but who's counting?)
The outlet notes that the project on how to speak to men has, at this point, conducted 30 focus groups and a national survey, only to find ... they still don't know how to speak to men.
Democrats, the outlet notes, are viewed by men as "overly-scripted and cautious."
“Democrats are seen as weak, whereas Republicans are seen as strong,” Ilyse Hogue, co-founder of SAM, told POLITICO. “Young men also spoke of being invisible to the Democratic coalition, and so you’ve got this weak problem and then you’ve got this ‘I don’t think they care about me’ problem, and I think the combination is kind of a killer.”

Democrats Will Never Attract Men Because They Refuse to Speak to Them in One Simple Way
Wait, you mean to tell me the party with the renowned hip-hop artist Chuck Schumer as their leader doesn't know how to talk to their fellow kids? Huh.
The resistance party has since responded to the realization that they are viewed as weak and pathetic by the male of the species by—we're not kidding—mocking Trump as a "chicken" and handing out free tacos to drive home the message.
So edgy, guys. Or, as Vice President JD Vance so eloquently stated, they are "the lamest opposition in American history."
RedState's Brandon Morse, in an extraordinary column analyzing why the SAM Project is doomed to fail, addressed the inauthenticity problem Democrats have with men, noting the party has no desire to speak with them, but rather, at them—or down to them even.
"The left's hatred of men has been very apparent for well over a decade now," Morse writes. "They accused us of upholding and taking advantage of a patriarchy that oppressed women. They accused us of being rapists in waiting, and sat back while feminists tweeted hashtags like '#killallmen.'"
The new study addresses that point, finding young men are "stressed, ashamed and confused over what it means to be a man in 2025."
Hey, don't feel bad. The Democrats don't know what a woman is either. So there's that.
One Asian American respondent to the study said Democrats embrace “fluid masculinity" while “Republicans are more like, the traditional masculinity of a provider, strong, and the machismo type.”
Seriously? 'Paternity' Pete Buttigieg, Tim Walz with his jazz hands, David Hogg with his string bean arms, and 'White Dudes for Harris' aren't considered a pantheon of masculinity? Who knew?
Men in these focus groups also pointed out that draconian pandemic lockdowns favored by the left and a tattered economy under the failed Biden presidency have made them feel that providing for their families is an impossibility.
A Latino man pointed out that Kamala Harris was focused on having multi-millionaires like Lady Gaga and Beyonce on stage, while all they were thinking about was their empty wallets.
"What does that have to do with me?" he said of the female recording artists. "I’m trying to move up in life.”
Men moving up in life is not a goal of the Democrat party. President Trump tries to lift all Americans, regardless of demographics. But the Dems have spent decades telling successful men that they are wrongful beneficiaries of the patriarchy, that their gains are a result of sexism and misogyny, and by extension, they too are sexist and misogynist.
Ross Morales Rocketto, a Democratic strategist, tells POLITICO that his party won't be able to message their way out of the debacle they've created with young men until they acknowledge "the fact that they know the Democratic Party doesn’t really like or respect them."
