As California Governor Gavin Newsom does his latest rendition of Baghdad Bob, trying to downplay the carnage caused by the L.A. riots over the weekend, the rest of America sees the situation for exactly what it is.

The Democrats are using their preferred political tool — violence — to destabilize America and enact their failed policies through intimidation and force.

And a majority of the blame for this falls squarely at the feet of Governor Newsom. This is because his soft-on-crime policies have sent a clear message to criminals that not only will they not be prosecuted, they will also be supported and worshipped. Not to mention his role in facilitating the initial invasion of these criminals by offering them taxpayer-subsidized benefits and tying the hands of law enforcement, preventing them from enforcing the law.

It’s a proverbial perfect storm, and this week’s violence was the predictable outcome.

Fortunately, President Trump is having none of this nonsense, and when it became clear that Newsom wasn’t going to do anything to protect the citizens of California, he did what leaders do and took action by activating the National Guard to step in and quell the uprising.

In doing so, he sent a clear message—America will enforce law and order.

National Guard troops were sent to downtown Los Angeles on Sunday, who then deployed tear gas and non-lethal ammunition to push the rioters back. During a news conference later that evening, LAPD Chief Jim McDonnell said 39 criminals had been arrested. Trump criticized Newsom and LA Mayor Karen Bass for their inaction and called the protesters "troublemakers and insurrectionists." Among the arrestees was a domestic abuser and a child rapist—clearly the participants of these riots are some of the worst criminals and they should absolutely be removed from our society.

For those paying attention, this is essentially a replay of the 2020 “Summer of Love” BLM riots, which despite resulting in between $1 to $2 billion in property damage as well as extensive looting, vandalism, assaults, and at least 25 deaths, were widely reported as “mostly peaceful" protests.

Defenders of the LA riots claim that “protestors” are just here for a better life and that they somehow represent the “best of America,” but that depiction is laughable at best. The reality is that it’s pretty hard to make that claim while the rioters are destroying property and assaulting legitimate citizens, all while waving the flag of a foreign nation.

So let’s call this what it is—a violent invasion by a country run by the cartels.

While this may sound hyperbolic to some, let’s look at the facts. During the Biden regime, over 51 million illegal aliens crossed our border, aided and funded by U.S. entities like USAID, as well as the Mexican government. And more recently, Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum criticized the Trump administration’s efforts to crack down on the violence perpetrated by illegal aliens and their supporters. Sheinbaum also recently criticized Trump's 3.5% remittance tax on money sent from America to Mexican citizens, promising resistance.

In what world does the President of Mexico think she has any authority to dictate policy in America? Especially when her own country is overrun by cartels. It’s worth noting that many experts agree that Sheinbaum was put in power by the cartels, and by all accounts, she certainly seems to be doing everything in her power to give them exactly what they want.

But here in America, we don’t empower criminal organizations. We prosecute them and put them in prison.

That’s exactly what President Trump is trying to do, but as usual, the Democrats are fighting tooth and nail against this. As I said before—Déjà Blue. 

Fortunately, Trump is holding the line to protect American citizens. He’s fighting a battle on two fronts by simultaneously standing up to the entrenched DC swamp that’s dedicated to their own pockets and power, and to foreign interests that are dedicated to the downfall of America.

Personally, I think he’s doing an excellent job. He’s taken swift and decisive action despite a tsunami of criticism from the media and the left, which are, in many cases, one and the same. As a result, the violence has already started to recede—a clear testament to President Trump’s resolve and leadership.

Law and order will be restored, and President Trump will make LA safe again.
