What's the expression folks on the right have about the liberal media? You can't hate the media enough.
The media showed that again during a briefing with U.S. Attorney for D.C. Jeanine Pirro. Pirro was discussing crime in the District and President Donald Trump's action to federalize law enforcement in response. Trump is deploying federal agents and the National Guard to help out.

Now, Trump didn't have to take the action, but adding more resources can only help. However, you wouldn't know that from the reporters. One of the reporters asked Pirro about "gun violence prevention programs."
"Oh, stop it," Pirro said, shutting that reporter right down in exasperation. "We are putting all kinds of resources onto the street."
Then another reporter tried the "crime is dropping" question and asked, "What changed?" Pirro dropped him.
"This changed, this changed," Pirro said, pointing to a board with the faces of people who had been murdered.
"You tell these families, ‘Crime has dropped.’ You tell the mother of the intern who was shot going out for McDonald's near the Washington Convention Center, ‘Oh, crime is down.'
You tell the kid who was just beat the hell and back with a severe concussion and a broken nose, ‘Crime is down.' No, that falls on deaf ears and my ears are deaf to that and that's why I fight the fight."
Now that's a mic drop. That left them silent. I think they know now they can't play that with Judge Jeanine.
The Trump team could have been like Joe Biden and done nothing. But that's not Trump, he's intent on solving issues.
Pirro was referencing the June 30 murder of Eric Tarpinian-Jachym, 21, who was an intern for Rep. Ron Estes (R-KS), and the violent August 3rd assault on former DOGE staffer Edward Coristine, 19 (the man who was nicknamed "Big Balls").
The D.C. Police Union supported the Trump move, saying crime was spiraling out of control. Last year, 70 D.C.-based trade associations sent a letter to D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser expressing major concern about "alarming trends" and "horrifying acts of violence" that had been taking place across the city. You even had Democrats and members of the media who had to live/work in D.C., whom MSNBC's Joe Scarborough said were privately cheering this move. Scarborough even related the text from a "very liberal friend" about the Trump move. The person said, "I've had too many friends carjacked, shot at. None of us will walk more than 3 blocks after 8 P.M." All of this blows the Democrat narrative up even more.

The "Oh, it's not a real problem" take isn't going to fly, and trying to argue against doing something productive isn't going to either.
Editor's Note: The days of lawlessness in Washington, D.C. are over. Thanks to President Trump, our nation's capital will be SAFE once again.
