NextImg:Biden WH Has Troubling Reaction to 'Tennessee Three' Expulsion Efforts After 'Transurrection'

The fallout from the Tennessee “transurrection” that took place in the Tennessee Capitol building just three days after 28-year-old transgender person Audrey Hale murdered six including three children at a Nashville Christian elementary school continues, as one of the ringleaders of the capitol storming – Democrat state Rep. Justin Jones (seen above) – has officially been expelled from the House over his actions.

Jones, as RedState readers will recall, was one of three woke Democratic state lawmakers who whipped up the outrage mob while on the House floor, with bullhorns in hand, chanting things like “no action, no peace,” aiding the far-left agitators in the gallery and in the hallway with disrupting official proceedings.

As of this writing, Rep. Gloria Johnson escaped being expelled by one vote. Deliberations over Rep. Justin Pearson, the third Democrat lawmaker in the video, are still ongoing.

At the beginning of the Thursday daily briefing, White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre took to the podium and started things off by proclaiming that the efforts to expel the so-called “Tennessee Three” were very “shocking, undemocratic, and without precedent” (she was wrong on all three counts), and then proceeded to declare that this has been a terrible week for kids and the LGBTQ community, transgender persons specifically, who she claimed continued to be victimized by Republican-controlled state legislatures:

As I was walking out here today, we saw news that Republican legislators in Tennessee were preparing to vote on the expulsion of three Democratic officials who stood in solidarity with children and families peacefully protesting for action on gun safety.

The fact that this vote is happening is shocking, undemocratic, and without precedent. Across Tennessee and across America, our kids are paying the price for the actions of Republican lawmakers who continue to refuse to take action on stronger gun laws.

The President will continue to call on Congress to take action to ban assault weapons and high-capacity magazines, require safe storage of firearms, eliminate gun manufacturers’ immunity from liability, and require background checks for all gun sales. And state officials must do the same.

This has been one of the worst weeks for — of 2023 so far in terms of anti-LGBTQ bills becoming law in states across America.

I wish I could say I was shocked to see the Biden White House again pretend that the trans community was the real victim of the Nashville mass murders, but I’m not, because they did it the very week that six innocent lives were taken by a person who identified as “he/him” and who reportedly had issues with her Christian family allegedly not accepting her LGBTQ status.

In fact, it’s almost as despicable as what the “protesters” said during the day they stormed the capitol building, with several of them holding up seven fingers to suggest that Hale was the seventh victim of the mass shooting she carried out.

As I’ve said before, the woke left’s reaction to what happened in Nashville when Hale opened fire on children and faculty alike shows how deeply we’ve fallen as a country on many fronts, especially moral and spiritual. Right is wrong and wrong is right, good is bad and bad is good these days, and the ugliness of moral relativism is raising its head again. All of this is happening in large part because we have “leaders” in this country like Joe Biden who refuse to actually lead and take a stand against the nonsense.
