NextImg:Biden Raises More Questions by Appearing to Deny He Proclaimed Easter 'Transgender Day of Visibility'

Over the weekend, there was a lot of controversy after Joe Biden announced on Good Friday that he was proclaiming Easter Sunday a "Transgender Day of Visibility."

Now, as we noted, it wasn't the first time that he'd issued such a proclamation; in fact, this was his fourth. But the fact that he did it this time on Easter before saying anything about the Christian holiday and after banning religious displays from the Easter egg design contest had a lot of people talking.

Biden's Special Proclamation for Easter Sunday Isn't About Easter - It's About Transgender Visibility Day

Among them was House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA), who criticized him for the proclamation on Easter Sunday.

Here was how Biden responded when he was asked about it at the Easter Egg Roll.

Q: "Speaker Johnson called it outrageous that Easter Sunday was transgender day of visibility, what do you say to Speaker Johnson?"

Biden: “He’s thoroughly uninformed.”

Q: "Uninformed how?"

Biden: “I didn’t do that.”

Now, that's bizarre because he certainly did do that. So once again when it comes to Joe Biden we get a comment that beggars reality. Is he trying to backpedal in the face of the backlash? Or does he not know what he's doing? When he makes comments like this, it raises more questions about whether someone else is running the ship behind the scenes.

It's a fact that he put out the proclamation declaring Easter Sunday "Transgender Day of Visibility." Now it may be he's trying to say he himself didn't set that date; it was recognized/marked on that date previously, but he's the first occupant of the Oval Office to put out a proclamation about it, and he's done it for the past four years. So he can't deny that he did it this year on Easter, which is what he seems to be doing here.

White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre tried to attack the Republicans for "misinformation."

But in fact, it's Biden spreading "misinformation" if he's trying to tell us that he didn't issue the proclamation.
