As the battle continues between ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) and National Guard troops and radical leftists, including Antifa, over the removal of illegal aliens from several major cities, the left has trotted out one of its most ridiculous arguments to date: Antifa, recently designated by President Donald Trump as a foreign terrorist organization, doesn't exist.
No, really. Just one problem.
In a post to X on Saturday, conservative political commentator Gunther Eagleman™ revealed that radical leftists are "now doling out scripted instructions to the insurrectionists on how to overwhelm ICE.
Eagleman added:
Their entire goal is to overwhelm and ambush.This is a direct danger to our brave men and women of ICE. The National Guard needs to be running security nationwide ASAP.
Is there any doubt? Yet, various Democrats continue to make even bigger fools out of themselves by arguing to the contrary.
One such fool — a really big one — is Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison, who, on Saturday, not only claimed Antifa (a portmanteau created by blending "anti" and "fascist") doesn't exist, but even more ridiculously, that the first person he heard use the term was... wait for it... President Donald Trump:
There really is no Antifa as an institutional organization … Nobody even knows what it is. The first person I ever heard use the word Antifa was Donald J. Trump when he was going on about Charlottesville.
I'll give you a moment to stop laughing before we continue.
So just one more problem: Ellison apparently "forgot" that in 2018, he proudly tweeted images of himself holding an Antifa handbook.
Ellison said of the Antifa handbook, at the time:
At Moon Palace Books, and I just found the book that strike [sic] fear in heart of Donald Trump.
Oopsie, Keith.
So here's the thing:
While Ellison is largely irrelevant outside of left-wing areas of Minnesota, he's hardly the Lone Ranger of the Left when it comes to lying about these sorts of things.
In effect, Ellison and other leftists like him are telling us not to believe our lying eyes about the existence of Antifa and the danger it poses to all Americans — either intentionally (as in continuing violence against ICE and National Guard troops), or unintentionally, against disinterested bystanders.

At publishing time, Keith Ellison, joined by House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY), Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY), and a host of other Democrats, was about to hold a press conference to claim Hamas doesn't exist — except, of course, in the mind of Donald Trump.
