There's an old saying from Ronald Reagan, "The trouble with our liberal friends isn't that they're ignorant, it's just that they know so much that isn't so."
When people heard what Sen. Amy Klobuchar (D-MN) said about her visit to a grocery store, many didn't believe the story that she was telling.
Klobuchar claimed that she was walking into a grocery store when she saw a woman coming out of the store. The woman was looking at her receipt, saying, "No, no." "That's how people are feeling," Klobuchar claimed.
People were highly doubtful that this even happened. Then, even according to Klobuchar's story, she's reading into what the person is thinking, how does she know what the woman was saying "No, no" to? Perhaps she forgot the butter that she wanted to buy.
Of course, Klobuchar's claims make no sense.
First, inflation has been in check under President Donald Trump, so what is she even talking about?
Consumer confidence is also up.
We're seeing things doing "better than expected" under Trump when things were always "lower than expected" under Joe Biden.
Even CNN had to admit people were feeling better because of Trump's deals.
US consumer confidence rose in July, suggesting Americans feel a bit more confident about the economy because of President Trump's tariff agreements.

Was Klobuchar talking about grocery prices when they were soaring under Joe Biden? Somehow, I missed that.
But that's typical of Democrats. I wrote the other day about a huge self-own by the Democrats from their X account.
They deleted their post some hours later after they got an enormous mocking backlash. They had over three million views, with people laughing at them.

They were trying to attack President Donald Trump over grocery prices. Except the graph that they posted showed exactly where (and when) the problem was — and it wasn't with Trump. Prices rose dramatically under Joe Biden, not under Trump, as their graph revealed. But they didn't even understand what they were posting. Why would anybody vote for them?
Some had thoughts about Klobuchar's claim.
How big was that receipt? Doesn't she know the size of receipts? This is truly funny.
