Adam Schiff Feels the Need to Comment on LA Anti-ICE Riots, and As Usual He's Wrong About Everything

A California Crazy story wouldn’t be complete without the ramblings of Adam Schiff. The DC Swamp Creature senator, who ostensibly represents the Golden State, always wants to get in the headlines and make scrambled eggs out of the truth. Speaking of which, Adam, do you have that evidence of Russia-Trump collusion you promised for so many years? We’d really love to see it.
As Los Angeles once again descends into chaos—this time at the hands of anti-ICE violent protesters who are hurling rocks at law enforcement vehicles and setting cars on fire—Schiff has hurt feelings over President Trump’s decision to call in the National Guard. How dare he step in to fix things when local and state officials either can’t or won’t (or both)?
Schiff wrote:
If the Guard is needed to restore peace, the Governor will ask for it. But continuing down this path will erode trust in the National Guard and set a dangerous precedent for unilateral misuse of the Guard across the country.
Wait, seriously? We’re supposed to wait for Newsom of all people to lift a finger, and we should just all wait and watch things burn like we did in the 2020 George Floyd riots? No thanks. Speaking of the impeccably-coiffed governor, he had his own gaslighting juvenile take Sunday morning:
Flailing Gavin Newsom Tries to Defend Chaos in the Golden State by Invoking… Jan. 6, of Course
The shifty senator continued, opining:
The Trump Administration’s calling on the California National Guard without the authorization of the Governor is unprecedented.
Um, no it’s not. Read some history, Mr. Schiff. Here’s my friend, Rebuild California's Mike Netter:
Breitbart noted this little irony:
In an ironic precedent, President Dwight D. Eisenhower federalized the Guard to protect black children who were integrating into formerly white schools. Local and state officials in the Jim Crow South refused to act to protect them — a precedent that Schiff and Democrats are repeating.

As Elon Musk noted Friday, if Schiff is against something, then you probably should be for it, and vice versa. “Hmm, few things could convince me to reconsider my position more than Adam Schiff agreeing with me!” the Tesla CEO tweeted (about the Big Beautiful Bill).
California officials—with Newsom and LA Mayor Karen Bass at the top of the list—have proven to be too busy inciting violence to make any serious attempts to stop it. When the kids get out of control, it’s time for the adults to step in, and Schiff can cry about it all he wants.
