Breaking up is hard to do, in part because you have to talk about it. Or email about it. Or at least text about it.

In your own breakup experiences, what did you say? What have others said to you? Is there a line that you either delivered or received that has stayed with you because it was especially surprising, shocking, haunting, funny or poignant? Maybe the line was enlightening, or perhaps it “set you free.”
