At least one person was injured and a gunman was dead after a shooting on Sunday at a church in Wayne, Mich., the police said.

The Wayne Police Department said on social media that officers responded to a report of a shooting at CrossPointe Church. After they arrived, officers found that a security guard had fatally shot the gunman.

One victim was shot in the leg, the police said.
