Welcome to Best of Late Night, a rundown of the previous night’s highlights that lets you sleep — and lets us get paid to watch comedy. Here are the 50 best movies on Netflix right now.

Disaster Area

President Donald Trump will travel to Los Angeles on Friday to survey damage caused by the wildfires.

On Thursday, the L.A.-based Jimmy Kimmel joked that Trump would make the trip “to blame us for the fires in person.”

“It’s the first time in history that a natural disaster will be visited by an even bigger natural disaster.” — JIMMY KIMMEL

“I guess to survey the damage, and meet with the governor — mostly to get away from Elon for a couple of days.” — JIMMY KIMMEL

“He is so, so ridiculous, and we have to sit around with the place on fire, hoping he gives us our own money back. Trump and his minions are planning to leverage any federal aid they might give to force us to help him round up and deport our neighbors as if we’re Eric and he’s cutting off our allowance to teach us some kind of a lesson.” — JIMMY KIMMEL

“Which, on one hand, you might think, ‘Oh, wow, what a truly — only a despicable human being would use disaster relief money as a bargaining chip,’ but on the other hand — there is no other hand. It’s just that hand.” — JIMMY KIMMEL

The Punchiest Punchlines (Oscar Nomination Edition)

“Today the nominations were announced for the 97th Oscars. Yeah, it was great. And ‘Wicked’ was nominated for best picture. Yes. Yeah, people heard and were, like, ‘Yes, a movie we’ve actually seen!’” — JIMMY FALLON

“The list of Oscar nominees is out, and Matt Damon isn’t on it, again. It’s the little things that keep me going.” — JIMMY KIMMEL

“There are several first-time acting nominees, including Demi Moore, Kieran Culkin, Ariana Grande, Zoe Saldana and Sebastian Stan, who is up for best actor for his role in the movie ‘The Apprentice,’ where he played the Donald Trump Melania wishes she was married to.” — JIMMY KIMMEL

“Sebastian Stan was nominated for best actor for his performance as Donald Trump. You can tell Sebastian is still in character because he’s already claiming he won.” — JIMMY FALLON

“The movie ‘I’m Still Here’ was nominated for best picture. It’s a film about Joe Biden’s last six months in office.” — JIMMY FALLON
