A hot-pink Palm Springs spread once home to Hollywood icon Zsa Zsa Gabor is now a million dollars cheaper.
The chic midcentury abode at 1090 W. Cielo Drive is asking $2.8 million — down from its $3.8 million ask just five months ago. The 3,441-square-foot offering comes with three bedrooms and four baths, and sits on half an acre.
Interior designer/hotelier Tracy Turco and her husband, real estate developer Jerry Turco, bought it for $1.74 million in 2020.
Built in 1964, the residence is perched on a terraced hill with views of the mountains and the famed Southern California resort city, and a pool in the front yard.
Zsa Zsa and her two sisters Magda and Eva — all actors — were Jews who fled Hungary for the United States during World War II. Paris Hilton’s great-grandfather Conrad Hilton, when married to Zsa Zsa, helped her Jewish parents escape Nazi-occupied Hungary in 1944.
“A girl must marry for love, and keep on marrying until she finds it,” Zsa Zsa once said.
This home was built by Magda’s fourth husband, Arthur “Tony” Gallucci. Zsa Zsa moved in briefly after Magda’s death in 1997.
The home includes original glass walls and windows that let in sunlight, which bounces off mirrored interior walls installed by the Gabor sisters — as well as original chandeliers, stone floors and some of the Gabors’ fittings, including a piano.
Zsa Zsa died in 2016, at age 99, in Los Angeles. The listing broker is Adam Gilbert, of the Firm.
What’s more, just in time for Greta Gerwig’s buzzy — and all-pink — “Barbie” film out next week, the Turcos have also listed their Manalapan, Florida home inspired by Mattel’s iconic doll for $7.19 million.
They bought this property in March for $6.62 million.
The house, aptly, is pink with interiors inspired by a Barbie-meets-’70s-Malibu vibe. Think: a striking pink kitchen, wild wallpaper and lots of chandeliers. It’s a far cry from Jerry’s former bachelor townhouse in Hell’s Kitchen, which came with an all-black lounge designed by Tracy, at 313 W. 53rd St.
That four-bedroom, 4½-bath, 5,853-square-foot home is at 1500 Lands End Road, and comes with a dock on 210 feet of waterfront.
There’s also a pool, an outdoor kitchen, a generator and a three-car garage.
The Manalapan home can also come furnished for an additional price, and boasts free membership to La Coquille Club at the nearby Eau Palm Beach Resort & Spa.
The listing broker is Guy Clark of Douglas Elliman.
