Zach Wilson is spending the Jets’ bye week with his nearest and dearest.
Over the weekend, the 24-year-old Jets quarterback took in some fall festivities with his family and girlfriend, Nicolette Dellanno, according to Instagram posts shared Saturday by his mom, Lisa Wilson.
Wilson and Dellanno, a New Jersey-based model, can be seen posing in front of a skull-centric sign for Cornbelly’s, a Utah venue featuring rides and attractions.
The former first-round draft pick also tossed the ball while playing a carnival game with his siblings, with mom Lisa quipping in her Instagram Story, “Like we don’t get enough football.”
Wilson and the Jets entered the bye week at 3-3 following a stunning upset win over the Eagles last week.
The former BYU product — who slid into the role of QB1 after Aaron Rodgers went down with an Achilles injury in Week 1 — threw for 186 yards in the Jets’ 20-14 victory against Philadelphia.
“This is a big win for us,” Wilson said after the game. “This is an unbelievable team that I think you guys saw, that was a good team on that side of the ball and those guys did a great job up front, they did a great job in their secondary making it tough on us, not giving us easy ones. We needed that win and I thought all the guys kept fighting, everyone kept fighting.”
Through six games, Wilson has thrown for 1,097 yards, four touchdowns and five interceptions.
Despite the early season curveball of Rodgers’ injury, the Jets have continuously supported Wilson.
“I’m seeing a lot of growth and confidence in him and him believing in his ability and his reads,” wide receiver Allen Lazard said earlier this month.
Added tight end Tyler Conklin of Wilson: “He feels very confident.”
Wilson has also leaned on the support of his family and Dellanno, whom he has been linked to since June 2022.
Prior to the start of the season, Wilson traveled to the Bahamas with Dellanno for a summer getaway.
The Jets will face the Giants next Sunday.
