NextImg:Zach Braff wants to work with his ex, Florence Pugh, again

Zach Braff says he’d continue to work with his ex, Florence Pugh, on further Hollywood projects after their split.

“Florence is definitely someone that I still admire — and will love to continue to work with — for possible future projects,” he told us. “She is not only beautiful on the outside but on the inside as well.”

The former “Scrubs” star, who directed Pugh in his new movie, “A Good Person,” added: “It was a great pleasure to work with her. You see all the work she is doing on the big screen.”

Braff, 47, and Pugh, 27, dated for nearly three years, but broke up last year. The pair haven’t publicly discussed the reasons for the split, but have remained friendly.

“She is only going to get even greater with her success, and I am proud to… have her in my life. She is something special,” Braff told Page Six.

The film’s writer-director also shared with Entertainment Tonight that Pugh served as a muse for his new film.

“I’m just in awe of her talent and I said, ‘I wanna write this for Florence. What I’m writing is really gonna be challenging and she’s incredible,'” he told the outlet.

Braff was even spotted having dinner with the actress’ family while in New York recently.

Braff also told us that he enjoyed working behind the camera for his latest movie.

“I think directing, acting and writing is enough on my plate. I performed in movies and I’ve directed a bunch of times, but felt this time it was a relief to just be a director and stand back and let the actors shine.”
