The tugs of sibling rivalry and brotherly love are on full display in the most recent episodes of “Succession” regarding the fictional characters Roman and Kendall Roy.
In the popular show, the brothers live on opposite sides of the park in shiny new-tower penthouses. While Roman, played by Kieran Culkin, lives in a two-level penthouse on the Upper West Side’s tallest and most controversial tower (which listed for sale in real life for $38 million), Kendall — played by Jeremy Strong — has been living it up in an Upper East Side triplex penthouse.

That three-level abode at 180 E. 88th St. — featured in the dramatic opening scene of the show’s most recent episode — is also on the market for $29 million, down from its $33 million ask last year.
The five-bedroom dwelling is at the top of the tallest tower north of 72nd Street on the East Side. At 5,508 square feet — with an additional 3,500 square feet of outdoor space over three levels — the sprawling residence comes with high ceilings, glass window walls, and panoramic views of Central Park and the city skyline.
The penthouse’s private 2,100-square-foot rooftop terrace, which is 467 feet above street level, features a gas fireplace and a dining area.

Inside, there’s a great room with a wet bar, an eat-in chef’s kitchen, a den — plus a stunning sculptural spiral staircase and a private elevator.
The main bedroom suite comes with its own gas fireplace and a loggia terrace overlooking the park, along with a dressing room and an ensuite spa-like bath with radiant-heat floors.
The 48-unit, 50-story building was built in 2019, and developed and designed by Joe McMillan’s DDG. Building amenities include a doorman, a concierge, a gym, a double-height basketball court, a soccer pitch, a playroom, a game room and a residents’ lounge with a catering kitchen.
Wine storage, along with residential and bike storage, are also available for purchase.
