This Yankees’ offense isn’t slowing down anytime soon.

The game’s best power-hitting team has excelled to a runaway lead in the AL East through disciplined plate approaches that lead to bases in whatever way possible. 

The Yankees tied with the Dodgers for the league’s highest in weight runs created plus (wRC+) with 123 entering play Saturday. 

Marcus Stroman continues to pitch reliably for the Bombers.

His previous outing featured four hits in 5 ²/₃ innings of work in the 10-1 rout of Kansas City.

That’s just about on par for him in his 5-2 record.

Stroman has gotten sufficient run support with the offense having posted at least four runs in 10 of his 14 starts. 

He’ll face an undervalued Red Sox lineup that ranks No. 13 overall in wRC+ on Sunday.

Boston was projected to be the doormat of the division, but it balances the .500 tightwire in mid-June because of timely hitting. 

Jarren Duran is enjoying a 2024 coming-out party as Boston’s lead-off man.

He’s averaging 1.91 bases per game and leads all of MLB with 10 triples.

I’d give some consideration to Duran’s total bases prop, too. He is having his way with right-handed pitching at Fenway, hitting .343. 

Kutter Crawford has historically pitched well against the Yankees, however, his exit velocity and expected ERA have taken some bumps.

Crawford has allowed at least one home run in seven of his past eight starts, opening the door for Yankees slugging.
