The Yankees have their relief southpaw.
Tim Hill is re-signing on a one-year contract for $2.85 million that includes an option for 2026, The Post’s Joel Sherman confirmed.
Hill, who turns 35 next week, shined for the Yankees after being released by the lowly White Sox last season.
He went 3-0 with a 2.05 ERA across 44 innings spanning 35 games in the regular season and then allowed just one earned run in 8 1/3 innings in the postseason.
Some wondered if the World Series turns out differently had he faced Freddie Freeman instead of Nestor Cortes in the season-changing at-bat at the end of Game 1.
Hill provides the Yankees a much-needed southpaw for a bullpen that is reliant on right-handed pitchers in closer Devin Williams, setup man Luke Weaver and others.
