Sign Up NowBut in five trips to the postseason, Goldschmidt has yet to make it to the World Series and he’s realistic enough to know there might not be many more chances to get there.
“I’m human, so of course I think about the future and at this point, it’s unknown,’’ Goldschmidt said Friday at Camden Yards before the Yankees faced the Orioles with another playoff berth in their sights. “But I have to focus on this year. There will be time to think about what happens next year, but right now, I’m giving everything I can to this team.”
