Jones, the Yankees’ first-round pick (No. 25 overall) in the 2022 draft, remains the No. 2 ranked prospect in the Yankees’ system, per MLB.com, ahead of infielder George Lombard Jr.
Right-handed pitcher Chase Hampton, who was ranked No. 83 in MLB’s top 100 list last month, also fell off from the rankings and is currently the No. 6 prospect in the Yankees’ system.
He missed the first few months of the season with a shoulder problem and injured his groin in his last start.
Infielder Roderick Arias is ranked fourth among Yankees prospects by MLB.com, and right-hander Will Warren, who made his MLB debut July 30 and made two starts for the big league club before being sent back to Triple-A, is ranked fifth.
Warren is starting Wednesday’s series finale against the White Sox.
Dominguez moved up nine spots in the latest overall rankings despite underwhelming in limited action this season due to injuries.

He’s hitting .253 with a .680 OPS in 22 games for Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.
