The American League Rookie of the Year award is Jasson Dominguez’s to lose.

The Yankees outfielder is the betting favorite at DraftKings Sportsbook, sitting at +450 to win the award.

Dominguez is expected to get every chance to win the Bombers’ starting left fielder job alongside Aaron Judge and Cody Bellinger.

A pair of Red Sox prospects — Roman Anthony (+650) and Kristian Campbell (+750) — are Dominguez’s stiffest competition for the award, according to DraftKings.

A’s infielder Jacob Wilson (+800) and Tigers pitcher Jackson Jobe (+1000) round out the top five of the sportsbook’s odds board.

It appears Dominguez will get his first full seasons at the highest level since joining the Yankees’ organization nearly six years ago.

In late 2023, shortly after his MLB debut, Dominguez suffered a torn ulnar collateral ligament and later underwent Tommy John surgery, which delayed his start to the 2024 season.

Dominguez has struggled a bit at the plate during short cameo appearances in the big leagues over the past two seasons, slashing .207/.310/.437 with eight home runs in 100 trips to the plate.

But having just turned 22 years old earlier this month, Dominguez remains far too young to give up on.

Heading into the season, MLB Pipeline has Dominguez ranked as the No. 21 prospect in the sport.
