On the verge of finally being eliminated from the wild-card race, the Yankees were rained out on Saturday.

The Yankees announced the game against the Diamondbacks, who remain in contention for an NL wild-card spot, will be made up at the Stadium “on a yet-to-be-determined date.”

There’s more bad weather on the way for Sunday and while the Yankees have an off day Monday, Arizona will be in Chicago to play the White Sox.

Both teams’ regular seasons end next Sunday, Oct. 1 and the wild card series are scheduled to begin Tuesday, Oct. 3.

The Yankees finish the regular season with a six-game road trip that begins Tuesday and Toronto and ends in Kansas City.
