tRY IT NOWThe heroes and zeros from the Jets’ 34-32 loss to the Steelers on Sunday:
Aaron Rodgers had so many chances to lead game-winning drives with the Jets last year but failed. Of course, in his first chance with the Steelers and against his own team, he delivered. He finished having completed 22 of his 30 passes for 244 yards and four touchdowns.
Xavier Gipson, whose spot on the roster was in doubt during training camp, fumbled a kickoff return at the start of the fourth quarter. The Steelers then scored a touchdown with the short field to take a 31-26 lead.
Chris Boswell drilled a game-winning 60-yard field goal with 1:03 left in the game. He also nailed a 56-yard field goal in the second quarter.
4 – the number of receptions by Jets wide receivers other than Garrett Wilson. Their depth at the position after Wilson is a major weakness.
