You just knew John Cena’s retirement tour would make a stop at RKO Junction. The two decorated WWE veterans will turn back the clock as they once again headline a marquee WWE pay-per-view. Cena is coming off his historic WrestleMania title win over Cody Rhodes, while Randy Orton is fresh off a victory over internet phenom Joe Hendry, who took the place of an injured Kevin Owens at Mania 41.
Backlash 2025 also features a slew of title bouts as Dominik Mysterio defends his Intercontinental Championship against Penta, Jacob Fatu puts his U.S. title on the line against LA Knight, Damian Priest, and Drew McIntyre in a fatal four-way match, and Lyra Valkyria and Becky Lynch square off for the Women’s Intercontinental Championship.
