You couldn’t miss it shortly after the Knicks finished off the Celtics to reach their first Eastern Conference Finals in 25 years, with a playoff rematch against the Pacers set.
The clip of Knicks captain Jalen Brunson and Pacers star Tyrese Haliburton coming face to face in a wrestling ring last June began popping up all over social media to the tune of WWE predicting the matchup with a trip to the NBA Finals at stake.
There was Brunson, side by side with L.A. Knight, chasing the brass-knuckles-wearing Haliburton — with his “Tyrese 3:17” shirt — and Logan Paul out of Madison Square Garden. As Brunson tells him, “You’ve been soft,” while he leaves, Haliburton says, “I’ll be back. You don’t want to see me again.”
Just hours after the Knicks game ended, Paul posted a TikTok of the confrontation to X, telling Haliburton to “Finish the story” like Cody Rhodes did at WrestleMania 40.
