A would-be robber was shot in the stomach during a struggle with a Queens liquor store worker who confronted him and an accomplice late Monday, police said.
Kevin Pullatasa and Edwin Poaquiza, both 20, allegedly barged into the Franja Wines and Liquors store on Wyckoff Avenue near Putnam Avenue in Ridgewood around 7:45 p.m. and tried to swoop up some items, cops said.
Both were asked to leave — but authorities said they returned a short time later and assaulted a 53-year-old worker, Francisco Valeirio.
A struggle ensued, and Pullatasa ended up getting shot in the stomach during the skirmish, police said.
He was taken to the Elmhurst Hospital Center, where he was listed in stable condition.

Poaquiza ran off, but was nabbed a short time later, cops said.
Both Pullatasa and Poaquiza were charged with robbery, third-degree assault and menacing, police said.
Valeirio, of Brooklyn, was slapped with a reckless endangerment charge, cops said.
It remained unclear Tuesday afternoon who fired the shot.
