A creep randomly shoved a woman into the side of a standing subway car at a Manhattan subway station early Sunday, police said.

The 42-year-old victim was brought to Cornell Hospital after the 6:15 a.m. attack on the platform of the Lexington Avenue and 63rd Street station on the Upper East Side, cops said. She was in stable condition.

The male suspect ran off after the shoving and was being sought by cops. It wasn’t immediately clear in which direction he fled.

Police were unsure what caused the unprovoked assault.

The investigation was continuing, cops said.

Subways shovings have risen consistently in the past few years – sometimes with deadly consequences.

More than two dozen people were shoved in city’s underground last year, at least two of which have been fatal.
