


Video obtained by The Post shows a woman and two little girls scrambling for cover as a gunman fires at police officers and then runs toward the trio in the Bronx Friday night.
The video shows the woman walking with two little girls and a man before snatching the smallest child from the sidewalk to get away from the gunfire near East 174th Street and Vyse Avenue around 7:40 p.m.
All four of them run as the gunman, who was wearing a gray sweatshirt, sprints it in their direction.
The armed man then runs around a corner out of view as police chase him with their guns drawn.

None of the officers were shot and they didn’t return fire, cops said.
The man who was with the females appears to place his body between them and the gunman.

Another video shows the shooter taking the gun from a car’s wheel well before firing it at cops.


The gunman fired one shot at police officers, who didn’t return fire, an NYPD spokeswoman said.
Cops took a person of interest into custody and charges were pending, the spokeswoman said.
No further information was available about him, she said.
