A New York woman was charged for two caught allegedly driving drunk two times within just three hours in Grand Island near Niagara Falls, New York.
Erie County Police first came across Leslie Zayas, 51, at 10:57 p.m. on Tuesday after encountering a car that struck a barrier near the intersection of Love and West River Roads.
Deputies said that after stopping Zayas, she displayed clear signs of intoxication, including the strong odor of alcohol coming from her.
After failing multiple field sobriety tests and refusing to provide ID, Zayas was arrested and charged with DWI and obstruction of governmental administration.
Zayas was quickly released with tickets, and her vehicle was towed and put on a 12-hour hold.
But less than three hours later at 1:45 a.m., Erie County deputies came across Zayas again after responding to the New York State Police barracks on the nearby Baseline Road.
Officials said Zaya was stopped for allegedly driving to pick up her car keys for the car that was towed earlier.
During the second stop, Zayas failed another set of sobriety tests, including a breathalyzer test that showed her BAC at 0.14, way above the legal limit.
Zayas refused to show her ID during the second stop and was again charged with DWI and obstruction of governmental administration.

After the second arrest, Zayas was taken to the Erie County Holding Center to await her arraignment.
A representative for Zayas could not immediately be reached for comment.
