A 32-year-old woman was stabbed in an unprovoked attack in East Harlem Tuesday night, authorities said.&nbsp;

The male assailant, an apparent stranger, approached the victim outside a laundromat on Lexington Avenue near East 102nd Street around 8:15 p.m. and suddenly jabbed her in the right shoulder with an “unknown object,” police said.&nbsp;

Police do not believe he said anything during the assault.

The woman was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where she was listed in stable condition.&nbsp;

The suspect fled and had not been arrested by Wednesday morning.
