After the Oscars, WME agents gathered at the firm’s Beverly Hills HQ to celebrate their award-winning clients — including Best Adapted Screenplay winner Sarah Polley, Best Costumer Ruth Carter and Best Animated Feature director Guillermo del Toro.

Other WME winners included Best Documentary Short winner Guneet Monga and “An Irish Goodbye” directors Tom Berkeley and Ross White.

Polley, Carter and del Toro attended the gatherings in person, and spies said they got “standing ovations” at the office-wide meetings called by co-chairman Richard Weitz.

A source told us that on Monday, “Guillermo del Toro came by the office to celebrate his win alongside longtime agent and WME partner Robert Newman. At the all-company meeting, del Toro spoke about the importance of animation in the next era of moviemaking and asked agents to find ways to incorporate more of it into their clients’ projects.”

At another meeting the day after the Oscars, we hear Polley reflected on her “26-year journey” with WME partner Gaby Morgerman — who helped her move from acting into writing.

Carter, who made history as the first black woman to win two Oscars, was joined by her rep, Mira Yong.

“She remarked how winning her first felt like running a race — but this time she felt confident in herself and her craft,” a spy told us of Carter.

Carter also joked “she could now work her biceps curling her two statuettes,” we hear.

Before the awards, Weitz, known as the King of the Sunset Tower, was seen toasting a behind-the-scenes LA power player, Gabé Doppelt — the outgoing maire d’ of the hotel’s celebrity favorite Tower Bar.

Also toasting Doppelt were WME’s Andrew Dunlap, Max Maulitz and Michael DeVeau, plus popular musician and Sunset Tower staffer Max Fite.
