The TikTok user who shared a now-viral video of a white woman’s racially charged rant at a Latino group by a Colorado pool is scoffing at the verbal attacker’s claim that the footage was “deceptively edited.’’
Another witness backed up the TikTok user’s assertion, saying the abuse went on for “hours.”
Jada Gallardo, who posted the footage online, told The Post on Tuesday she was enjoying the pool at the Alta Green Mountain complex in Lakewood over the Fourth of July weekend when sunbather Blair Featherman, 49, started berating their group.
Featherman can be heard on the video calling those around her “trash’’ and “f–king low-class slime,” scolding them over their “f–king Mexican party’’ and saying, “You’re nasty, you smell.’’
Featherman has since claimed the video was “deceptively edited.”
She said she was criticized by the group first after complaining they were breaking the complex’s rules because Gallardo had too many guests at the pool, that members of the party called her a “white bitch’’ and violently pulled her hair.
Featherman insisted she is “not a racist.’’
But Gallardo retorted to The Post, “The footage is little bits and pieces of her screaming and yelling, but all the videos include Ms. Featherman acting belligerently crazy.”
Gallardo claimed that the footage, which she said was recorded by a 13-year-old girl before Featherman knocked the phone away, was not seriously edited. She also said she did not hear anyone call Featherman an expletive.
“She said we don’t know what Hermés sandals are,” Gallardo recalled of Featherman’s rant.
“I said, ‘I’m wearing Hermes sandals! Just because [of] our skin tone we don’t know what an expensive designer is?’
“She was screaming, ‘Low-class Mexicans!’ … A lot of people were getting mad.”
Gallardo said the incident started when Featherman approached her and her boyfriend to ask whether they lived at the Alta Green Mountain apartments.
“[Featherman] asked if we had a key fob,” she said.
“I said ‘I live here,’ ” Gallardo said.
She said Featherman told them, “I need to check your key fob because I work here and a lot of people have been coming in that don’t belong here.”
Featherman was unable to be reached by The Post for comment Tuesday.
Another woman who said she witnessed the events that day, Melanie Rangel-Olmedo, backed up Gallardo’s version of what happened.
“[Featherman] kept saying ‘trash.’ … One father took his two daughters back home because he didn’t want them to hear the things that she was saying,’’ Rangel-Olmedo said.
The police eventually escorted Featherman from the pool but only after “hours” of abuse, Rangel-Olmedo said.
As of Tuesday afternoon, no criminal charges had been filed related to the incident.
Rangel-Olmedo also said she did not hear anyone call Featherman a “white bitch.”
Both Gallardo and Rangel-Olmedo said some members of Featherman’s group were apologetic over what happened.
A screenshot shared with The Post showed someone under the name “rachellynn” commenting on Gallardo’s video to say that she was with Featherman that day and that their group was “so embarrassed” by her actions.
Another person in the group “kept apologizing,” Rangel-Olmedo said.
At one point, Gallardo said, Featherman and another woman even got into a brief physical fight.
“There was a big wad of brown hair [on the ground after],” Gallardo claimed, though she admitted that she did not witness the fight herself.
Featherman, who is blonde, previously told the Daily Mail that it was her hair that was torn.
“[Featherman] should not be able to live [in the complex] after what happened,” Gallardo said.
“The little kids were sitting right next to her. How would she like it if someone was acting like that in front of her kids?”
